ICC Player Ranking Women is a system developed by the International Cricket Council and is recognized worldwide to rate the performance of individual women cricketers based on their recent international matches.
The ICC ranking of Players is updated after each match and considers a range of factors such as runs scored, wickets taken, and catches made.
There are separate rankings for One Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Each format of the game has 3 different categories Batsmen, Bowlers, and All-rounders based on the roles they are ranked.
The rankings are calculated based on a complex algorithm that takes into account various factors such as the player’s recent form, the quality of opposition, the conditions in which the player performed, and the importance of the match.
The ICC Player Rankings are widely followed by fans, players, and the media alike, and are considered a benchmark of a player’s performance and standing in international cricket. Players who perform consistently well over a period of time often achieve high rankings, which can have a positive impact on their career, endorsements, and earning potential.
